The first Endoscopy Reprocessing Training dedicated to GI Nurses in Kuwait in collaboration with Fujifilm LEARN. A great success with over 100 attendees. It covered all areas of endoscopy reprocessing to make including disinfection and safety measures, to maintain the highest level of patient care in compliance to guidelines.
Types of Endoscopies
- Gastrointestinal tract:
esophagus, stomach, and duodenum (esophagogastroduodenoscopy). - Respiratory tract:
nose (rhinoscopy), lower respiratory tract (bronchoscopy).
- Female reproductive tract (gynoscopy):
Cervix (colposcopy), uterus (hysteroscopy), fallopian tubes (falloposcopy). - Through a small incision:
abdominal or pelvic cavity (laparoscopy), interior of a joint (arthroscopy).
